Samsung launches new phones in the Galaxy Unpacked Event

Samsung has been known for launching some great phones over the past few years. One of the most hyped phones from them comes from the S series of phones. They refresh new phones in the S line-up every year, this year around. They have launched three new phones, which are the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and the S21 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy S21:

The first phone launched by Samsung in the Galaxy Unpacked event is the Samsung Galaxy S21. This phone comes with a 6.2″ FHD+ AMOLED Display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate screen which would make the experience a lot smoother. The phone comes with a new chip which is the Exynos 2100 in all the markets. Except for the US, where the phone runs on Snapdragon 888. Coming to the battery and charging of this device now, we get a 4000mAh battery with this phone. But Samsung has now also joined the Environment game and have removed the Charger from the box. This means users need to buy chargers separately if they are buying this phone.

Coming to the cameras of this device now, the S21 houses a triple rear camera setup at the back that includes a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle. The camera setup also comes with a 12-megapixel primary Dual Pixel sensor. Additionally, there is a 64-megapixel sensor with phase detection autofocus and 3X hybrid optic zoom. The tertiary sensor also comes with support for OIS.

For the front, the Samsung Galaxy S21 comes with a 10-megapixel camera sensor. The front-facing sensor is coupled with an f/2.2 lens. Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus:

The second phone launched by Samsung sits between the regular S21 and the S21 Ultra. The phone comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED 2X Display, with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also includes HDR10+ support as well as a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate which makes the experience a lot smoother compared to 60Hz. There is the Exynos 2100 SoC on the global Galaxy S21+ version compared to Snapdragon 888 in the US. Coming to the battery and charging of this device, it comes with a 4800 mAh battery and same as the regular one, no charger in the box.

The triple rear camera setup of the Galaxy S21+ comes with a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter with OIS support. There is also a 10-megapixel selfie camera sensor.

Coming to the price of this device, the Samsung Galaxy S21+ starts at a price of Rs. 81,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option, with the price for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant as Rs. 85,999.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra:

The third phone launched by Samsung is the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. This phone features a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ AMOLED Display with HDR10+ support and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is also equipped with Wacom’s technology to support S Pen, which is the same as the Note series of phones. The phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 2100 SoC in global markets however in the US it comes with the Snapdragon 888. Coming to the battery and charging of this phone, this phone comes with a big 5000 mAh battery and the same no charger in the box.

For the cameras here, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel sensor with OIS support. The camera also carries a 12-megapixel dual pixel sensor, a 10-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens with OIS support, and another 10-megapixel sensor with an f/4.9 telephoto lens and OIS support. For the front, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 40-megapixel camera lens.

Coming to the price of this phone, it starts at Rs. 1,05,999 for the base 12GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, with the top-end 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration priced at Rs. 1,16,999.
