Redmi Y3 Launched In India, Specifications and Price :-
Looks like Redmi India is considering themselves as their biggest challenger as they have launched their Redmi Y3 today in India which is priced at Rs. 9,999 and it’s the pricing of the popular Redmi Note 7 as well. The company was already teasing about this smartphone from the past couple of weeks. So let’s see what does Redmi Y3 offers and how does it stand against the Redmi Note 7.
Redmi Y3 comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch on the top. Both the screen and the rear panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It’s also splash resistant because it has p2i coating just like the Redmi Note 7. On the rear side, it has a Fingerprint sensor and you can also use Face Unlock feature. Redmi Y3 is powered by Snapdragon 632 Octa-Core chipset along with a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage for the base variant and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage for the higher variant.
Redmi Y3 comes with a 12+2MP dual camera setup on the rear side and a massive 32MP front camera for selfies, which is the main highlight of this smartphone. The smartphone houses a 4,000 mAh battery but it has no fast charging support and it comes with a micro-USB port.
Redmi Y3 Price and Availability :-
The phone is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 3/32GB variant. The 4/64GB variant will cost you Rs. 11,999. There are three color variants: Elegant Blue, Bold Red, and Prime Black. The sale will begin on April 30 via Mi.com, Amazon, Mi Stores.
Redmi Y3 vs Redmi Note 7 :-
If we look closer then we will find out that Redmi India is aiming two different markets here. The Y series is focused for selfie lovers, whereas, the Note series is for power users. So if you want the best selfies and can compromise a bit on the multitasking then you can go for the Redmi Y3. But if you want an overall package then the Redmi Note 7 will be a perfect option since it has a better display and a more powerful processor. Redmi Note 7 also comes with Quick Charge 4.0 support and USB type-C which are missing in the Redmi Y3.
