You Can Launch Google Assistant Directly From Nova Launcher Search Bar
Nova Launcher has been primary launcher since the past 4 years and why not. It gives you the ability to make your Android device look like exactly how you want. It also has so many nifty features that make your daily life much easier. Now in the latest Nova Launcher Beta Update, it has added to option to Add Google Assistant Icon in the Search Bar.
Ther latest Nova Launcher 6.0 -beta5 Update is not actually a very major one. But it still ads 2 new features. The first one isn’t a very noticeable feature. Actually, it’s not even a feature. The Nova Launcher App animation is now very similar to Android Pie animations which is very nice to see. This will maintain a consistency if your device is running on Stock Android Pie.

How To Launch Google Assistant From Nova Launcher Search Bar :-
Now let us come to the most important feature of this new Nova Launcher Beta Update. Adding this Google Assistant feature is quite easy.
- Make sure you have added a Search Bar in the Desktop (Homescreen).
- Open Nova Launcher Settings and go to the Desktop option.
- Then open the Search Bar option.
- Now make sure that you have Checked the Voice Search option.
- Then on the right side Tap on the drop-down icon.
- Select Assistant.
Now on the search bar, you will see the Voice icon has changed to Google Assistant icon. You can simply tap on it and your Google Assistant will be launched. I am personally liking this feature a lot and it’s way easier than tapping and holding the Home button. You can update your app to beta version or you can simply sideload the APK file.
