Huawei Watch GT2 Launched In India – Specifications, Price:

After posting some clear mentions on Twitter and other social media platforms, Huawei has finally launched their Huawei Watch GT2 Smartwatch in India. You might know that Huawei is still recovering from their recent backlash with US Government but that doesn’t affect their other product launches because those don’t depend on the Android Ecosystem. Huawei GT2 starts at Rs. 14,990 in India. It comes with the latest Kirin A1 chipset.

Huawei Watch GT2 Specifications :-

This smartwatch comes with Huawei’s own Kirin A1 chipset which is specially built for Smartwatches. This chipset brings both Bluetooth 5.1 and BLE 5.1 to the device. The chipset also helps to reduce power consumption and offer more battery life. The 46mm variant has a 455mAh battery and is expected to give a battery life of up to two weeks, whereas, the 42mm variant houses a smaller 215mAh battery and is expected to give a battery life of around a week. Huawei Watch GT2 46mm variant features a 1.39-inch AMOLED Display with a resolution of 454×454 pixels and the 42mm variant has a 1.2-inch AMOLED Display with a resolution of 390×390 pixels.

The smartwatch runs on Huawei’s LiteOS and supports custom watch faces. You can track 15 different types of activities with the support of VO2 tracking. The smartwatch has 2GB of Internal Storage and can store up to 500 songs for playback. You can also do Bluetooth Calling using this device. There’s is a built-in Dual-Frequency GPS for accurate positioning and the Watch GT2 supports connectivity of up to 150 meters range.

Pricing and Availability :-

The Huawei Watch GT2 can be purchased from Flipkart, Amazon and from selected offline stores as well. The 42mm variant has been priced at Rs. 14,990. The 46mm Sport Black will cost Rs. 15,990, a leather variant will cost Rs. 17,990 and the Metal variant will cost you Rs. 21,990. As part of the pre-sale activity, the customers can book the watch at 12 a.m.onwards, from December 12th to 18th, 2019 and they will get a Huawei Freelace worth MRP 6999 free. They are required to make the full payment for the watch at the time of booking the watch.
