There are tons of browsers available for an Android Device. So here is our short and simple tutorial and using this you would be able to change default browser on Android.

Now for this tutorial, we are going to set chrome as default browser on Android. You can choose any browser of your choice. The method is universal.

Set Default Browser As Chrome On Android (Stock Android):-

  • Open Settings on your device.
  • Go to Apps and Notifications if you are using stock android device. If you are using MIUI then go to Manage Apps.
  • Scroll all down to the bottom and click on Advanced.
  • Now select Default Apps.
  • Select Browser App and set default browser as Chrome.

Set Default Browser As Chrome On Redmi Note 7,4,3 (MIUI) :-

  • Open Settings on your device.
  • Go to Manage Apps.
  • Click on the Three-Dots menu on the top right.
  • Select Default Apps.
  • Click on Browser and change default browser to Chrome.

So that’s it. The settings will be more or less similar on all Android devices. Using these simple steps you can now change default browser on Android.
