Honor 30S Launched With 5G Support In China – Specifications And Price :-
A few days ago, Huawei launched its latest flagship – Huawei P40 Pro series along with the Huawei Watch GT2e. Today, Honor, a sub-brand of Huawei has unveiled its new smartphone – the Honor 30S in China which will compete in the midrange segment. This is the first smartphone from Honor in the midrange segment to have 5G support. Furthermore, Honor 30S is the first smartphone to feature Huawei’s latest Kirin 820 Chipset.
Honor 30S Specifications :-
On the front, it features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It features an NTSC color gamut of 96 percent. It has a 3D curved glass back with a new reflective design. Honor 30S is powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 820 SoC. It is an octa-core processor that comes along the new Mali-G57 MC6 GPU for graphic-intensive tasks. The smartphone supports 5G as well. So we are getting to see more and more 5G Smartphones getting launched in a relatively lower price tag. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that doubles as the power button on this device.
Honor 30S comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear side with AI capabilities. The primary lens is a 64 Megapixels sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The other three lenses include an 8 Megapixels wide-angle lens with 120° fov, 8 Megapixels telephoto lens (3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, and 20x digital zoom) and a 2 Megapixels macro lens. The camera can shoot upto 4K 30fps videos and supports 960fps slow-mo videos at 720p resolution. The primary camera also has five-axis image stabilization for better videos. On the front, it has a 16MP camera integrated within the punch-hole.
The smartphone houses a 4,000 mAh battery which supports 40W fast charging. The company claims that the smartphone can be charged to 70 percent within 30 minutes. It charges through a USB Type-C port and retains the 3.5mm audio jack.
Pricing And Availability :-
Honor 30S will be available in three colors: Black, Green and Blue. It will be available to purchase online from April 7, 2020. The pricing goes like this :

- 8/256GB :- Yuan 2699 (Roughly Rs. 28,600 / USD 380)
