Tenor G 10.OR G Specifications And Review
It’s quite interesting that how smartphone companies are putting a solid amount of specifications in such a budget pack. The most popular smartphone under 15,000 RS is Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. And to challenge this phone finally a new brand 10.or (Tenor) has come into the market. Previously they have introduced 10.or E which costs 8,999 INR. That phone got quite a nice attention. Now they have released 10.Or G.
Let me very precisely explain why Tenor G is Redmi Note 4 killer.
Design And Build Quality :- The design of this phone is nothing new. It has a metallic body with curved edges and it comes with vertical camera lineup. So it reminds me of Honor 6x. But the design is actually good. The grip of the phone is really nice and the phone is comfortable to hold. The only complain is it’s power and volume key placement. It is reversed. So it may take some days to get used to it. Also remind that top and bottom bezels are a bit big.
Display And Sound Quality :- Tenor G comes with a 5.5″ Full HD display along with corning gorilla glass 3. Now the color production is very well and the viewing angles are perfect. But I guess the brightness could have been a bit more. When it comes to sound quality then it’s quite guide. It has a dual speaker setup(one from earpiece). The sound is loud enough and the clarity also decent. I got really nice experience while gaming. Also it’s 3.5mm jack produces stunning audio output.
Software And Battery Performance :-
Tenor G comes with stock android. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and gets regular security updates. I have 4GB RAM variant and my phone never lagged. Multitasking was quite smooth. The apps load quick also in several speedtest videos it has beat Redmi Note 4 and also Mi A1. Now it has 4000 mAh battery abd the battery output is really good. With heavy gaming I got around 6 hours of SOT and with average usage (all time on wifi) it gave me 8 hours of SOT. So it can easily give you more than 1 days of battery backup.
Gaming Performance :-
I have already made a gaming review for Tenor g so you can check that. But for a quick note it comes with Snapdragon 626 chipset along with Mali 506 GPU. I never faced any lagging while gaming. Even it ran Asphalt 8 smoothly on highest settings. But remind after about and 30 minutes of gaming the phone gets heated.
Camera Performance :-
I have made a dedicated 10.or G Tenor G camera review. The front camera comes with 16Mp shooter along with a flash which gives stunning selfies. The details are quite nice and also front facing video quality is quite good. Now it has 13+13MP dual camera setup. The bookeh shots are quite nice. It did really good job. But in some cases it failed. The surprising part is it’s rear camera quality. The camera UI has some serious bugs and you should try other camera apps. Check my video for details. Overall I think rear camera could have been improved.
For other specs it comes with hybrid sim slot(dual 4G support) and 2 years warranty for Amazon Prime Members. Now personally I think this phone is much better than Redmi Note 4 in every aspect. The only advantage of Redmi Note 4 is a better battery and quite a good reputation.
